Two senior staff of the oil firm Shell have been kidnapped and their police escorts killed in Nigeria’s restive Delta area, police mentioned.

The assault happened as the employees have been coming back from a enterprise journey on Thursday on a street in Rivers state.

Gunmen killed the guards, one among whom was driving the car, and seized the 2 staff, officers mentioned.
