Netflix Cancels ‘Tuca & Bertie’


Netflix has pulled the plug on the grownup animated comedy collection, Tuca & Bertie, after a single 10-episode season, in accordance with a Deadline report. Created by BoJack Horseman manufacturing designer Lisa Hanawalt and starring Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong, the present facilities on the friendship between two 30-year-old chicken girls who reside in the identical condominium constructing: Tuca (voiced by Haddish), a cocky, care-free toucan, and Bertie (Wong), an anxious, daydreaming songbird.

Hanawalt government produced the collection alongside BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Noel Brilliant (BoJack Horseman, Pals) and Steven A. Cohen (BoJack Horseman, Jack & Bobby), in addition to Haddish and Wong. The collection was produced by Michael Eisner’s The Tornante Firm and animation by ShadowMachine.
