Liverpool band Her’s killed in US crash

Each members of the Liverpool band Her’s and their tour supervisor have been killed in a crash within the US.

Duo Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading, in addition to supervisor Trevor Engelbrektson, died whereas travelling to a gig in California on Wednesday, their document label Heist or Hit stated.

The label described them as “one of many UK’s most cherished up and coming bands”.

The duo had not too long ago launched their debut album and had been featured by BBC Introducing.

Heist Or Hit stated the duo and their supervisor have been killed “in a street accident within the early hours of Wednesday while travelling to a present in Santa Ana, California”.

That they had carried out in Phoenix, Arizona, on Tuesday and have been driving about 350 miles to Santa Ana in California when the crash occurred.

The label added: “We’re all heartbroken. Their power, vibrancy and expertise got here to outline our label.

“As people, they have been heat, mild and hilarious. Every time they stopped by the workplace made for an uplifting expertise.”

NME stated Her’s “weren’t a bunch to face nonetheless”

On their web site, Heist or Hit stated Mr Fitzpatrick, from Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, and Mr Laading, from Norway, met for the primary time in Liverpool as college students.

The label stated the band have been taking part in 19 exhibits on their second tour of North America, having launched their debut album Invitation To Her’s final 12 months.

Writing in regards to the band in 2017, music journal NME stated Her’s have been “not a bunch to face nonetheless”.
