‘Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus’ Film Coming to Netflix August 16



Netflix has introduced that Nickelodeon and creator Jhonen Vasquez’s new animated movie, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus will debut this coming August 16. The 27-episode sequence, Invader Zim, initially aired on Nickelodeon from 2001-2002, and chronicled the efforts of an extraterrestrial named Zim on a mission to overcome Earth and enslave the human race. Thought-about a cult basic, the sequence gained each Annie and Emmy awards. The present usually ran afoul of community censors who objected to the proposed killing off of sure characters; Vasquez’s unique design calling for the character of human classmate Dib to put on a trench coat troubled the community as properly, which feared audiences could be reminded of the Columbine capturing tragedy.
