First Animated Child’s Movie Concerning the Holocaust to Air Might 1 in Israel


The Star of Andra and Tati, the primary animated movie for youths in regards to the Holocaust, will air Might 1 and a pair of on Kan, the Israeli public broadcaster. The programming honors Yom HaShoah, the Holocaust Memorial Day, which is well known on the 27th day of Nissan in Israel, in keeping with the Jewish calendar.

The movie was produced by Rai Ragazzi and Larcadarte, directed by Rosalba Vitellaro and Alessandro Belli with drawings by Annalisa Corsi. The Star of Andra and Tati tells the true story of two Italian sisters, Andra and Tatiana Bucci – ages four and 6 – who survived the Auschwitz focus camp.

The 26-minute movie tells the woman’s tales whereas being intertwined with the present-day story of kids visiting Auschwitz with their instructor.

The Star of Andra and Tati has efficiently aired on Italian channels Rai3 and Rai Gulp and been used as instructional materials in faculties.
