Black gap image ‘a dream come true’


Astronomers have taken the primary ever image of a black gap on the coronary heart of a distant galaxy known as M87 within the Virgo galaxy cluster.

It measures 40 billion km throughout, three.three million instances the scale of the Earth.

The Occasion Horizon Telescope used a community of eight telescopes internationally to get the picture.
